Student Health Insurance: Exclusions

As with any private medical insurance, there are certain exclusions and limitations to the cover provided.

The following are some examples of treatments that are not covered by Freedom Healthnet's medical insurance plans. These include:

1. Chronic conditions
2. Pre-existing medical conditions
3. HIV/AIDS
4. Cosmetic surgery
5. Drug, solvent and alcohol abuse
6. GP consultations
7. Pregnancy and infertility
8. Dental treatment
9. Varicose vein treatment
