As with any insurance, there are exclusions and limitations to the married/couple health cover provided by Freedom Healthnet.

The following are some examples of treatments that are not covered by Freedom Healthnet's medical insurance plans. These include:

1. Chronic conditions
2. Pre-existing medical conditions
3. HIV/AIDS
4. Cosmetic surgery
5. Drug, solvent and alcohol abuse
6. GP consultations
7. Pregnancy and infertility
8. Dental treatment
9. Varicose vein treatment
