Private Health Insurance - How do you make a claim?

Once you see your General Practitioner and he / she has referred you to a specialist, you must notify Freedom Healthnet immediately.

You may call us on 08703 50 40 30 or download our claim form and return it to us by post as soon as possible.

Claim your entitlement

Once your claim is authorised, we will credit your account (unless otherwise specified) within 5 working days.

Arranging your treatment

Once again, should you require additional support in arranging your treatment, we can assist you.

As outpatient treatment costs are lower and more frequent, we generally settle by reimbursement, once you have provided proof of payment for covered medical expenses. However, where practical, Freedom will settle your pre-authorised medical expenses either over the phone or online at time of treatment, direct to the hospital.

    1. See your GP

    2. Get a referral to see a specialist

    3. Notify Freedom Healthnet by phone on 08703 504030

    4. Download a claim form (or we can send you one)

    5. Return the claim form by post as soon as possible
